The TIAC Nikonov International Tech Moot is a premier international moot competition bringing together the brightest law students to tackle the most pressing legal issues at the intersection of technology, arbitration, and digital transformation.
Hosted by the Tashkent International Arbitration Centre (TIAC), the Tech Moot offers participants a unique opportunity to sharpen their advocacy skills, engage with cutting-edge topics and connect with leading professionals in law and technology.
In its most recent edition in September 2025, approximately 70% of participating teams represented universities from outside Uzbekistan, including universities from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, India, Pakistan and China. The competition benefits from the involvement of an internationally diverse pool of arbitrators, contributing to the maintenance of high professional standards. By engaging with these forward-looking procedural innovations, students participating in the Moot gain exposure to real-world legal challenges.
